About
Anna Plantinga is an associate professor in the Statistics Department, co-chair of the Data Science group, and a member of the Public Health Advisory Committee at Williams College. She graduated with a B.S. in Mathematics and Biology from Calvin University in Grand Rapids, MI, then earned her PhD in Biostatistics from the University of Washington in Seattle, WA under the direction of Michael C. Wu. Her primary research focus is on statistical methodology for human microbiome analysis.
