Staying Safe on Campus
Everyone has a role to play in reducing risk and promoting safety at Williams.
Located throughout campus, our emergency phones connect you directly to Campus Safety Services or 911.
Students, faculty and staff can request an after-dark walking escort. Call the Student Escort Service at x4400 from dusk to 2 a.m. or Campus Safety Services at x4444 at all other times.
Campus Safety Services provides timely notice of serious or ongoing threats to the campus community using a wide range of communications channels.
Campus Safety Services issues photo ID cards to the Williams community. Student ID cards are equipped with an RFID chip and magnetic stripe that grant access to your residence hall.

Our Crime Prevention Unit works to increase awareness about crime prevention services, tips and alerts with an emphasis on personal responsibility.

Annual Security and Fire Safety Report
In accordance with Uniform Crime Reporting procedures and the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Safety Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, Williams provides an annual report of safety policies, procedures and statistics concerning crime on campus.
