Arabic Studies
Study a vibrant discipline at the forefront of global affairs
Arabic is the language of a rich and complex cultural heritage, the main language of Islam and the official language of 22 countries. At Williams, in addition to studying the language, you’ll be encouraged to study political and social issues and explore Arabic-speaking cultures through literature and history courses, as well as film screenings, concerts, guest lectures and thematic parties.
Study Abroad
You can spend a semester or year abroad through programs in Syria, Morocco, Kuwait, Oman, Jordan, Egypt and more. You may also choose from several Winter Study courses with an international component, or apply for funding for summer study away.
For Current Students
Current students can log in for advising help, more information on the curriculum and study abroad, and a range of resources.
