The ability to organize, visualize and draw meaningful conclusions from data is a critical tool across academia and society at large. Data science is an interdisciplinary field in which you’ll learn computational techniques, how to synthesize quantitative and statistical methods, and ultimately how to communicate knowledge from data.
Our coordinate program offers numerous opportunities for you to develop best practices, ethics and a contextual understanding of the data being analyzed. These skills are an excellent complement to other aspects of a liberal arts education and reflect the College’s mission of developing in students a strong sense of ethics, imagination, and the desire to become responsible contributors to their communities.
