There’s nothing like seeing and experiencing campus in person. Unfortunately, we are closed to the public as we prioritize people’s health and safety during the Covid-19 outbreak, but we’re eager to help you explore Williams from home. Below you’ll find a myriad of ways to learn more about life at Williams and connect with the people—students, faculty, and staff—who make it the special community that it is.
Join Williams College Connect!
Williams College Connect is many things: a platform to connect with current students and staff; a cache of videos and photos to bring Williams to life; and a place to get advice on the college search and application process. We've built communities you can join for all of the important stuff—academics, affordability, campus life, etc. Our students will be posting new content often and answering your questions in the hopes of making this year a bit smoother. We hope to meet you in this space!
Virtual Group Sessions
We are excited to connect with community-based organization (CBO), high school and middle school groups. When our campus is open again, we look forward to welcoming you in person! Until then, we’d love to meet with you virtually via Zoom. Please submit this request form at least 5 days before your desired date, and we’ll follow up to work out the details.
Questions? Please email Admission Counselor Courtney Oben.
Williams in Your Area
While traditional fall admission events won't be held in person, we're eager as ever to connect. Please check this list of schools and organizations we'll be meeting with virtually in the coming weeks.
Transfer and Veteran Virtual Open House
Prospective transfer and veteran students (and their families and supporters!) are invited to connect with current students, faculty and staff on Friday, October 30. Participants will have the opportunity to attend classes, join admission and financial aid information sessions, schedule an appointment with the Registrar, and perhaps most importantly, chat with current students. Please check out the event schedule, and register here,
Six Colleges Virtual Events
Six of the nation's top liberal arts colleges have teamed up to make the college search process a bit easier this year! Amherst, Bowdoin, Carleton, Pomona, Swarthmore, and Williams will host virtual events for students, families and counselors all year, and we encourage you to view the schedule here.
If cost is an obstacle to visiting campus, consider Windows on Williams (WOW), our fall fly-in program which provides an incredible virtual visit for selected students in the fall of their senior year. Please note that the Windows on Williams (WOW) application for Fall 2020 is now closed, but information about WOW 2021 will be shared in April 2021.
