Planning Your Visit to Campus

Visiting Campus

A visit is a great way to get to know Williams. Take a tour, attend an information session and sit in on a class. Seniors may also request an overnight in a first-year entry. Design a visit that will give you a greater sense of this place.

Getting Here

Williamstown, located in beautiful western Massachusetts, is approximately a three-hour drive from both Boston and New York City. The nearest major airport is in Albany, about an hour away from campus.

Unable to Visit?

Our virtual tour introduces you to some of the best aspects of Williams. Or use "Ask an Eph" below to connect with a current student.

If cost is an obstacle, our Windows on Williams (WOW) fall fly-in program provides all-expenses-paid visits for select students.

Take a Tour

A tour and information session will give you an overview of what makes Williams special. The tour schedule varies: check the visit calendar and make your plans.

Tours and information sessions start at the Office of Admission in Weston Hall and typically last 75 minutes.

Attend a Class

If you visit during the academic year you're welcome to observe one of the classes listed at the link below. Check back often, as we update the list each semester.

Stay Overnight

Get the full student experience by spending a night in a first-year dorm during the fall of your senior year in high school. Admitted students may also request an overnight visit in the spring.
