Political Science
How power is created and how it shapes society
Political science investigates how power is created, exercised, justified, and challenged to make and remake societies. You’ll learn about the people, institutions and social forces that shape democracy, war, law, rights, wealth distribution, and authority. You’ll also consider issues of community, identity, justice and citizenship. The study of politics aims not just to describe and explain, but also to improve collective life.
