Bronfman Summer Fellowship in Jewish Studies

The Program in Jewish Studies and the Bronfman Fund are pleased to announce a summer research fellowship of up to $2,500 for students interested in pursuing summer projects in the field of Jewish Studies. All first years, sophomores, and juniors are eligible. Applicants must provide 1) a well-articulated research plan, 2) a projected budget that includes all expected expenses, even if the total exceeds $2,500, and 3) the name of one faculty member familiar with the applicant’s plans. Please submit electronically the 1-2 page project proposal, budget, and reference contact information to the Chair of the Program in Jewish Studies, Edan Dekel. Application deadline is March 31. Students will be notified by late April.

Bronfman Hebrew/Yiddish Language Study Fellowship

The Program in Jewish Studies and the Bronfman Fund are pleased to announce a summer language study fellowship of up to $4,000 for students interested in studying Hebrew or Yiddish.  All first years, sophomores, and juniors are eligible. Applicants must provide 1) a well-articulated rationale for studying either Hebrew or Yiddish, including a brief description of their chosen program with link to official description; 2) a projected budget that includes all expected expenses, even if the total exceeds $4,000; and 3) the name of one faculty member familiar with the applicant’s plans. Please submit electronically the 1-2 page rationale, budget, and reference contact information to the Chair of the Program in Jewish Studies, Edan Dekel. Application deadline is March 31.
