Interested in IPV prevention or health education? There are so many ways to get involved with the PEACe office! You could become one of our student workers, join one of our affiliated student organizations, or just come to the events that we host!
If you have questions about getting involved in health education (substance use, sex education, sleep, or mental health), contact [email protected]. For questions about IPV prevention, contact [email protected].
Peer Educator Program
Our Peer Educators are paid student workers. They are essential to the rollout of our intimate partner violence prevention education. Peer educators table all around campus, facilitate workshops, and assist with events. If you see them tabling, say hi and grab some goodies off the SAPR table!
Meet our Peer Educators:
Hello! My name is Xavier Wills (he/him), and I am in the class of 2027! I am from Williamsburg, VA, and my favorite peer educator activity is leading workshops with the various groups of campus! It’s a really cool way for me to recognize more faces and also learn interesting and insightful perspectives regarding sexual assault prevention and response work!
My name is Alyson. I am a sophomore from Providence RI, and I love being able to support my community as a peer educator both one on one and through events and workshops. (also love tabling/trivia wheel).
My name is Maya Sachs, I’m a freshman from Minneapolis Minnesota and I use she/her pronouns. My favorite thing SAPR does is facilitate workshops for sports teams.
