R is an open-source programming language and R Studio is the most prominent program used to interface with the language. You can find info on how to download and install R and R Studio at this link.
There are some resources online that can help you learn R and R Studio:
- To get started with R, you may want to try the Learning R course on Linked In Learning. Use OIT’s directions to log in.
- One of the things you will want to be able to do is to clean your data. R Studio has a tutorial and a cheat sheet specifically for this task
- If you are looking for other help sheets, R Studio has many.
There are also content tutors available to help students through their R projects. If you visit Accudemia and select “Tutoring for R” from your course list, you will be able to set up a meeting with them!
If you have materials you would like to add resources to this page, please email Nick Hanford.
