Common Data Set

The Common Data Set (CDS) is a compendium of institutional facts commonly requested by and found in college guide publications. This information is voluntarily provided by many colleges and universities each year.

Although we provide a comprehensive archive of Williams’ Common Data Sets online, keep in mind that there have been methodological and definitional changes over the years that make the CDS a somewhat unreliable source for generating comparable trend datasets.
