Online student parking registration and the parking lottery for the 2025-2026 academic year will open on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 and close on Friday, May 16, 2025 at Midnight. If you miss the lottery deadline, you may still be eligible for on-campus parking, if spaces are available, by completing the Student Vehicle Registration form. Remaining parking spaces will be assigned to students based on when they’ve registered their vehicle with us. If you participate in the parking lottery and do not register a vehicle with us, you will lose the space you’ve been assigned, so please make sure you do both steps. Please keep in mind that due to our ever growing demand for student parking, combined with our limited resources, participating in the parking lottery does not guarantee that you will be assigned a parking spot, let alone your top choice, which is why it’s important that you do both steps. That being said, please do not wait to apply. If you’re unsure which vehicle you’ll be bringing to campus, please fill in the form as much as you can and just write a note at the bottom stating this information. Please email [email protected] with any questions.
Step 1.
Log into Peoplesoft and select self-service > campus life >Williams Parking Lottery.
Complete the form and select your top three parking lot choices.

Step 2.
Fill out the Student Vehicle Registration form which you can access here.
The form will close once all available parking spaces have been filled.
NOTE: If the student vehicle registration and the lottery information is not complete and accurate by Friday May 17, 2025 your name will be removed from the lottery and your parking will be assigned (if available) after all completed lottery submissions have been placed. If you’re unsure if you’re bringing a vehicle (or which vehicle) please fill out as much of the form as you can and write us a note at the bottom of the form where it says “notes.”
All fields on the form must be completed (including image of vehicle registration & insurance card) for submission to be successful.
In order to comply with Massachusetts State Law, all off-campus students must register their vehicles with the College. There is no charge for an off campus parking decal.
In addition, students from out of state that are bringing a vehicle to campus are required to file in quadruplicate a nonresident student driver statement with the Williamstown Police Department, 825 Simonds Rd, (413)-458-5733.
Williams College is required to share this warning:
”IT IS UNLAWFUL FOR A NONRESIDENT STUDENT TO FAIL TO FILE A NONRESIDENT DRIVER STATEMENT WITH THE POLICE DEPARTMENT LOCATED IN THE SAME CITY OR TOWN AS THE SCHOOL OR COLLEGE ATTENDED, IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 3 OF CHAPTER 90 OF THE MASSACHUSETTS GENERAL LAWS. FAILURE TO FILE SUCH STATEMENT IS PUNISHASBLE BY A FINE NOT TO EXCEED $200.”
Parking Decals will be distributed to your SU Box on a date to be announced later.
