Visiting campus

Vaccinated guests are now allowed at designated college events.

Please check the college events calendar and EphSports website for details. Only events specifically marked as public can allow guests. Any programs not marked as public are limited to faculty, staff and students.

  • Off-campus guests must show proof of vaccination at the door in order to be admitted. Events are not open to unvaccinated individuals or those without vaccine documentation.
  • Masks are required at indoor events for everyone, regardless of vaccination status.
  • We regret that for now we cannot welcome children under 12, since they are not yet eligible for the vaccine. We look forward to doing so once they can get vaccinated.

The following campus buildings and programs are also open to the public. Masks are required in these indoor spaces, too, regardless of vaccination status.

Office of Admission: Outdoor-only campus tours are available from September 13 to November 23. Please see the Admission Visit page for information on scheduling and reservations. For questions about Windows on Williams (WOW) programming please contact Carolina Echenique.

Sawyer and Schow Libraries: Walk-in library access has resumed, including for non-college visitors. See the library's Status of Services page for details.

Williams College Museum of Art: The museum is open to the public. Find hours, directions and more on the Museum's website.

Faculty House: Community members are welcome for lunch service, offered every Thursday throughout the term.

Visitors are also welcome in outdoor campus spaces. The college asks anyone who is not vaccinated to please wear a mask when outdoors, too.

Any indoor facilities not listed here are closed to visitors until further notice. We regret that the gym and fitness center must remain off-limits for now to anyone except current faculty, staff and students.
