We are very excited for your return to campus. As you begin (or continue) your packing and pre-travel errands, I’d like to remind you to please consider getting a pre-arrival COVID test before you depart.
As you know, we are seeing spikes in COVID cases in many places across the country. Students who test positive upon arrival on campus will have to move immediately into a designated isolation room for 10 days. It would likely be more comfortable for you to stay at home for those 10 days in the event that you test positive — a pre-arrival test would allow you to take advantage of that option. In the event that you receive a positive result from a pre-arrival test, rest assured that we will be happy to assist you in scheduling a new arrival date and helping you work with your professors to stay on track in the interim.
I’m wishing you safe travels,
