  • UIC Campus Housing – Every summer, hundreds of college students flock to Chicago for the opportunity to work with successful Chicago businesses. UIC Campus Housing provides safe, clean, and affordable housing accommodations for these summer interns. Our housing is available for college students interning in Chicago, from late May until August 1. Minimum age for intern housing is 18. Featuring: Furnished rooms in 2- or 4-bedroom apartments; Shared bathroom, kitchen, and living room; 24-hour security; On-site laundry; Computer lab; Vending. $300/week; $900/4 weeks

New York City

  • Fashion Institute of Technology Summer Housing – “FIT offers summer housing in NYC for students, interns, and groups conveniently located within walking distance of Penn Station, Madison Square Garden, and the Empire State Building, as well as shopping and restaurants.”
  • Naked Apartments was created by a Harvard graduate.
  • NYU Summer Housing – Anyone can live in NYU residence halls during the summer. They provide safe, comfortable, and convenient housing whether you are taking classes, working, or interning in NYC. You must apply and it typically takes four to six weeks to process your application. You can apply and check on the status of your application online.
  • Columbia University – offers housing for non-Columbia students working as interns in the New York metropolitan area for the summer.
  • Educational Housing Services – “a not-for-profit organization founded in 1987 to provide student-friendly housing to college students and interns 365 days a year.   • – “NYCIntern is an initiative featuring apartments that are located in lower midtown Manhattan, across from Macy’s and Herald Square. These luxury apartments include full-time security and concierge services, laundry facilities, dry cleaning services, and more. The location provides convenient access to all parts of New York City. The apartments also have hardwood floors, private bathrooms, air conditioning.
  • School of Visual Arts – SVA offers summer housing to currently matriculated students as well as interns and visiting students who want to experience New York City for the summer.  From the hip Lower East Side to the funky East Village to the posh Gramercy Park, SVA offers housing in the thick of NYC’s most desirable and fashionable neighborhoods!


  • Drexel University Summer Intern Housing Living at Drexel is ideal for undergraduate or graduate students who are working or studying in Philadelphia during the summer. To be eligible for summer accommodations, individuals must provide proof of employment, internship or enrollment in a local college or university. The Drexel Conference Center is centrally located and is a vibrant place to call home!
  • Villanova University Intern Housing Program – end of May through early August. Modern, three-story (with elevators), air-conditioned, furnished apartment building in a Traditional Philadelphia, stone construction motif offers guests the convenience of easy access to major highways and a train station accessing Center City Philadelphia.

Washington D.C.

  • Washington Intern Student Housing – WISH houses interns working for the U.S. Congress, the Supreme Court, the White House, and all Federal Agencies, as well as the Smithsonian Museums, the Pentagon, newspapers, and media networks, law and lobbying firms, embassies, associations, nonprofit organizations, university programs and more.
  • Summer Intern Housing – at The Catholic University of America. The Catholic University of America (CUA) provides summer housing to individuals who are in Washington, D.C., for educational purposes – internships, co-ops, research, and educational study. Catholic University is located in Northeast Washington, D.C., on a tree-lined 193-acre campus, approximately three miles north of the U.S. Capitol. CUA is served by the Metrorail Red Line at the Brookland-CUA stop.
