Science Center Tour
Friday, June 27 12:30-1:30
Williams’ Science Center is home to collaborative spaces and cutting-edge technology that are rare at liberal arts colleges, including a microscopy suite with optical, confocal and electron microscopes, a large machine shop and makerspace, two GIS-capable computer labs and more. Join a current summer research student for a tour of the recently expanded, 500,000 square foot center and see the classrooms and labs where high-level coursework and research are happening.
’66 Environmental Center Tour

The ’66 Center is home to one of the oldest Environmental Studies programs at a liberal arts college and the Zilkha Center for the Environment, a hub for campus sustainability efforts and cocurricular initiatives related to environmental justice. Join us to hear from faculty, staff and students about the college’s long-standing commitment to environmental education, research, campus sustainability, and community engagement, followed by a tour of the facility that recently became the 34th Living Building in the world.
STEM @ Williams

Williams offers the best features of a close-knit, liberal arts community alongside opportunities to pursue STEM research on an almost unmatched scale. About half of our students graduate with a degree in a STEM discipline and even more enjoy the state-of-the-art STEM facilities that hold shared equipment spaces that are rare at liberal arts colleges. Join us for a tour of the Science Center followed by a showcase of students’ impressive summer research.
