Need to send your accommodations letter to your Spring ’24 faculty? Submit a Semester Request on Accommodate

The Office of Accessible Education (OAE) is the hub on campus for determining and arranging accommodations for students with disabilities. We work individually with students, faculty, staff, and administrators to eliminate barriers and assist the College in meeting its obligations under federal and state disability laws. OAE also plays an active role in shaping campus discourse around accessibility and in furthering the College’s commitment to an inclusive and equitable educational experience for all.

OAE staff can:

  • Determine reasonable accommodations for students with disabilities (including temporary disabilities)
  • Support students through the accommodation request process
  • Assist faculty, staff, and students in implementing approved accommodations
  • Connect students with local providers for diagnosis and/or treatment
  • Recommend individualized support and resources, including for time management and executive functioning
  • Be a sounding board for campus partners looking to improve accessibility in their area

The collaboration between students, faculty, and OAE is critical to ensuring that students with disabilities have equal opportunities to learn and live at Williams. We look forward to working with you!
