Our coastal location allows for some of the country's most spectacular boating and sailing. Some even choose to visit Mystic Seaport by boat. For details, contact the Mystic Seaport Dock Office at 860-572-5391. Dock space is limited and must be reserved ahead of time.

To approach Mystic Seaport, use US chart #13214 and pay strict attention to the buoys. The channel is narrow and twisting; shoals abound just outside the channel. The Mystic River Railroad Bridge and Mystic River Bascule Bridge (Route 1) has scheduled openings each day, with hourly openings in the summer. Both bridges monitor radio channels 9 and 13. Ask the Mystic Seaport Dock Office for more information.
