Volunteer Opportunities

There are many ways to support Williams-Mystic by giving your time and energy.

Class Agents: Class Agents keep classmates in touch with each other and with Williams-Mystic by maintaining contact information, encouraging fund raising efforts and updating classmates with personal and program information.

Alumni Council: The Alumni Council is a volunteer group of enthusiastic alumni who meet several times a year in Mystic. The Alumni Council assists with keeping alums connected and involved with Williams-Mystic through career networking, helping with reunions and other activities. The Alumni Council also works closely with Class Agents and Williams-Mystic staff on fund-raising efforts.

Regional Reunion Coordinators: Regional reunions provide alumni with an opportunity to get to know other Williams-Mystic alumni in their area and to stay in touch with Williams-Mystic, even if they are geographically very far away. Alumni plan events in their cities ranging from day sails and picnics to happy hours, Dutch-treat dinners and maritime-themed movie nights.

Admissions Liaisons: Alumni are one of our most important recruitment tools for prospective students. Spreading the word to faculty and students at your alma mater or meeting with prospective students in your area is a great way to encourage others to experience Williams-Mystic.
