Sigma Xi at Williams College

The Williams College Sigma Xi Chapter has played an active role on the Williams campus since it was founded as the Sigma Xi Club in 1969. Sigma Xi is a national society honoring and encouraging research in science. In addition to sponsoring other events, two lectures are given each year by a Williams College faculty member from the Science Center. Speakers in 2008 will be David Tucker-Smith from the physics department and Chip Lovett from the chemistry department. Titles of talks, dates and location will follow.
