The Lehman Council for Community Engagement is proud to sponsor the first annual Service Fair, this Wednesday (September 17th, 2008) from 7-9:30p.m. in Goodrich. Ever wanted to be active in the larger Berkshire community? Do you want to burst the Purple Bubble? Would you like to step outside your comfort zone? Too much free time with too little homework? Come to the Service Fair. You can find information on how to get involved in over thirty service groups on campus while meeting other Berkshire residents who are active in their communities. Groups range in interests from working with hunger in the Berkshires to helping recent immigrants learn English. Take a study break (or two) and come down to Goodrich on Wednesday and see how YOU can create change in your community.
