Health Professions

Each year, upward of 70 Williams students and graduates decide to apply to medical school. More enter other health related fields including dentistry, veterinary medicine, public health, and nursing. In each case, applying to professional schools requires careful planning and considerable foresight.

In my work as the health professions advisor, I help students and alumni choose courses, find experiences, and generally decide whether a career in medicine or health is a good fit. If you have an idea that medicine or another health profession might be right for you, schedule an appointment with me early in your college career to get an overview of the process and a clear sense of how past Williams students have prepared for such careers.
