Alumni Network

Once students have made some initial decisions about the career fields they would like to explore, Williams College alumni can be excellent sources of information and connections. Our alumni are an enthusiastic group eager to help students learn the inside story.

The OCC keeps on file reports from several hundred alumni describing their career paths and offering advice on what students might do if interested in the alum’s field. The reports make for fascinating reading and offer great insight into how students make the transition from Williams to the “real world.”

Ever wonder what happened to those who just graduated? The First Impressions database is a collection of data from recent classes on their first experience out of Williams. This year this database is accessible on line at: [url to be determined]

Of course, a huge resource for students is the Alumni Database, maintained by the Office of Alumni Relations. They have created a special section of the database available to all students to tap directly into the expertise of individual alumni. More than 8000 alumni have volunteered to be contacts to Williams students. You may search this database online using your Unix ID and password.
