The Twelfth Intercollegiate Ethics Bowl will take place on Thursday March 02, 2006 at the Hyatt Regency Riverfront East Hotel in Jacksonville, Florida, as part of the annual meeting of the Association for Practical and Professional Ethics (APPE). Participants (teams, judges, and moderators) will be able to check-in for the Ethics Bowl on Wednesday evening March 01, 06 from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Check-in will continue the following morning, Thursday March 02, 06, the day of the Intercollegiate Ethics Bowl, from 7:00 AM to 8:25 AM. From 7:30 AM to 8:25 AM there will be a breakfast prepping session for the judges and moderators. From 8:30 AM until 8:55 AM all the participants (teams, judges, and moderators) will convene to review the format and rules of the Eleventh Intercollegiate Ethics Bowl. Each team will compete in three matches against a different team in each match. The first set of matches will take place from 9:00 AM to 10:10 AM. The second set of matches will take place from 10:20 AM until 11:30 AM. The third set of matches will take place from 11:40 AM to 12:50 PM
At 2:30 PM the top scoring eight teams will be announced (see below for the scoring rules of the Twelfth Intercollegiate Ethics Bowl).
From 6:00 PM to 6:10 PM there will be a brief evening plenary session. Four quarter final matches will take place concurrently from 6:20 PM to 7:30 PM. The semi final matches will run concurrently from 7:35 PM to 8:45 PM. The finals will take place from 8:50 PM to 10:00 PM
