After graduating from Williams, I moved on to Duke, where I graduated with a law degree in 1998. The philosophy student in me wouldn't die, so I also picked up a master's from Duke's Graduate Program in Literature in 1998. After finishing at Duke, I moved to the balmy metropolis of Fairbanks, Alaska, to do a one-year judicial clerkship with a judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. I now live in New York, where I'm an associate at a law firm named Sullivan & Cromwell. I'm in the litigation department, and my cases involve hostile takeover defense litigation, securities and antitrust litigation, and white-collar criminal investigations.

My experience in the philosophy department at Williams has been immeasurable in helping me prepare to become a lawyer. I'd be happy to talk to anyone about the legal profession in general and how Williams has impacted where I am now. Call, write, email, whatever!
