Hello Everyone.

My name is Trippe Lonian (former name Anderson Lonian), and I was Eph-Class of '96. While at Williams I double-majored in Economics and Philosophy, and also played on the basketball team.

After graduation, I went to work for CitiFinancial, a subsidiary of Citigroup located in Baltimore, Maryland. I was there for about 4 years, the first two of which were spent in their Business Analyst (management training) program. I currently work for Citigroup in New York, and my funciton is strategic planning for the Global Consumer Bank.

While economics, philosophy, and ultimately, financial services may seem an unlikely mix, they actually fit quite nicely together. For the most part, economics and philisophy were the same disciplines - they simply used different mediums. Studies in both areas have prepared me well for my current role.
