You slacker. Cappy, you are a true daughter of Williams, steeped in this College family since coming to Williamstown in 1972 as a member of only the second fully co-educational class in Williams history. Since then you have truly left your mark on this place, helping lead it to its current prominence, and position it for future progress. Your deep commitment to issues of access and fairness have served you well in your current position as it will in your next. You are held in the highest regard by students, staff, and faculty as an administrator, teacher and scholar of both extraordinary competence and deep humanity. As you leave to embrace new challenges in Poughkeepsie, please know that you do so with our utmost thanks, respect, and affection.
