Will the Summer Science courses count for the regular academic year?Summer
Science courses DO NOT count toward academic year work, but
they are graded by Williams faculty with the same intensity as academic
year courses. |
Where will I live? SSP participants are housed in an upper-class dormitory with three
or four SSP tutors. The tutors are typically former SSP participants
and are there to aid with academic and social aspects of the program. |

How much will it cost to attend SSP?
Should you coose to attend, your room, board, and round-trip transportation
to Williams will be paid for by the program. In addition, you will
receive a $100 stipend during July and, depending on your financial
aid status at Williams, you could be eligible for up to $900 to be
credited to your student account. |

Are we going to spend the whole summer in class?
While a significant portion of your time will
be spent attending classes and completing work for those classes,
you will have many opportunitiesto take advantage of Williams' excellent
on-campus recreational facilities which include an Olympic sized-pool,
a fitness center, tennis courts, and aerobic classes. |
How many people attend the program Typically
fourteen to eighteen students are admitted into SSP each year. There
are actually more students who wish to participate than the program
can accomodate. |
