The New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission is charged with identifying and preserving historically important aspects of the city's urban fabric. As such, it is one of the most important governmental preservation organizations in the country.
Students placed with the Landmarks Preservation Commission will have a chance to experience first-hand all the complexities of dealing with issues of historic preservation.
