The Frick Collection
The Frick Collection, exhibited in a grand private house on Fifth Avenue, is always hihgh on the list of almost everyone's favorite museums. It boasts a choice collection of Old Master paintings and Italian Renaissance bronzes assembled by the early twentieth-century industrialist Henry Clay Frick. Every year the Frick also presents small, specialized temporary exhibitions related to its permanent collection.
Students placed at the Frick will work with the curatiorial staff either on the permanent collection or on preparation for temporary exhibitions.
