School for Democracy and Leadership
The School for Democracy and Leadership (SDL) is a New Century school located in Brooklyn, New York. SDL is a 6-12 grade school that partners with Brooklyn College and the Sadie Nash Leadership Project to cultivate young leaders. SDL emphasizes high academic achievement, rigorous college preparatory courses for all students, and close working relationships with organizations in the community.
Students placed at SDL work closely with the principal and her talented, dedicated teachers and organizational partners as they work to fashion a unique urban learning environment.
