David Edwards: The Williams-Afghan Media Project
The Williams Afghan Media Project (WAMP) began in 2001. Working with Afghan Media Resource Center (AMRC) in Peshawar, Pakistan and Kabul, Afghanistan, Professor Edwards and a team of students and alumni began the long process of creating a digital database of a vast archive of video and images taken by AMRC during the Soviet occupation.
