Directions

Williams College is located in the center of Williamstown, along Route 2 (Main Street), next to the junction of Routes 2 and 7 in the northwest corner of Massachusetts. We are about one hour’s drive from the Massachusetts Turnpike (I90) and Interstates 91 and 87. Driving time from Boston or New York City is about three hours; from Albany, NY, one hour; and two hours from Bradley International Airport outside of Hartford, CT.

Directions to the Office of Career Counseling
In Williamstown, if traveling east on Route 2, turn right onto Stetson Court; or if traveling west on Route 2, turn left onto Stetson Court. Take the first left into the parking lot. The Office of Career Counseling is located in the large brick building adjacent to the parking lot and directly across Main Street (Route 2) from the ‘62 Center for Theater and Dance.

Bus

Bus service to Williamstown from New York City, Boston, and other points in New England, is offered by several regional carriers. Buses stop adjacent to campus at the Williams Inn (413-458-2665). Prices from Boston, Bradley International Airport (Hartford, CT) and New York City range from $35 to $50.

Plane

The nearest major airport is in Albany, NY, about an hour from Williamstown. The Hartford, CT, airport (Bradley) is about two hours away. Transportation from the airport is by rental car, bus, or taxi/limousine service.

Train

Amtrak serves the station in Albany/Rensselaer, NY, about an hour from campus by car. Call Amtrak at 800-872-7245 for more information. Rental cars are not available on site.

Limousine/Taxi

Limousine service is available to and from Albany/Rensselaer, Bradley Airport (Hartford, CT), JFK/Newark/LaGuardia, and Logan/Boston. One-way fares run from $75 (Albany/Rensselaer) to $250 (New York area airports).
