Sarah Humphreys

Sarah Humphreys’ new role was just announced in a dramatic fashion via a press release by none other than Martha Stewart. Sarah will soon be taking the reins as editor of Blueprint , a new magazine created by Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia.

Her career in publishing began in 1999, when she landed the role of Assistant Editor at Real Simple Magazine. There she progressed through the editorial ranks in roles of associate editor, staff editor and after a brief stint at another magazine, landed back at Real Simple as Director of Special Projects. Most recently Sarah conceptualized, managed, and edited all special projects for the magazine, including special issues and books. She oversaw international editions in Japan, South Africa, and Greece and promoted Real Simple on national and local television and radio, including NBC Today Show and Weekend Today, CNN, TBS Movie and a Makeover, and NPR.

Sarah was an English major at Williams and studied abroad in London. She currently lives in the West Village of NYC and loves playing golf.
