Anna Gunning works for The PBN Company (www.pbnco.com), a strategic communications consultancy specializing in the countries of the former Soviet Union. Based in London, she provides financial and corporate communications support to both Western and CIS companies as they internationalize their operations and outreach with investors.
Her work includes managing communications surrounding major transactions such as initial public offerings and mergers and acquisitions; writing annual reports and coordinating results presentations; advising in shareholder disputes; organizing investor roadshows to introduce companies to London audiences; and facilitating business expansion into new markets. Anna also helps coordinate and research PBN's IPO Pioneers research series, an annual and quarterly publication which features key data and analysis of initial public offerings conducted by companies from Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States.
Prior to working at PBN•UK, Anna was a summer staff assistant in the PBN•DC office working on legislative and public affairs programs for clients for government agencies and for corporations. She also did an internship at the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs (NDI) in Tbilisi, Republic of Georgia, assisting with voter education and government reform initiatives in the immediate aftermath of the Rose Revolution.
Anna graduated magna cum laude Phi Beta Kappa, majoring in political science with a concentration in international relations and completing a Russian certificate. While at Williams she was a student representative on the Committee for Educational Policy, a tour guide for the admissions office, a cellist in the music department and a coxswain on the Williams crew team. She studied abroad on the Williams Oxford Programme and did the Williams in Georgia Winter Study program. She moved to London shortly after graduating and has been living there ever since.
