Developing a Presence at Williams

GENERATING AWARENESS AMONG STUDENTS is critical to a successful recruiting effort.

Whether you are new to recruiting at Williams or have a long history of hiring our graduates, many students will be learning about your organization for the first time. There are several strategies you can employ to effectively raise awareness on campus, identify interested candidates, and evaluate potential matches.

We encourage you to contact the recruiting director at 413-597-2311, to discuss a strategic marketing plan to fulfill your recruiting goals and/or consider using some of the following options.

  • Host an information session
  • Attend a career fair — the OCC participates in two consortia fairs (New York and Boston) and offers a spring career fair on the Williams campus.
  • Sponsor a recruiting event
  • Work with student groups on campus
  • Participate in alumni networking activities - if you are an alumnus/a of Williams, we welcome your involvement in alumni activities, conferences, panels, and other networking events.
