ECCD - Boston & New York

What is ECCD?

Maximize your career search efforts! Interview for multiple positions in one day! Participate in our off-campus consortia recruitment programs! Eastern College Career Days – Boston and New York provide seniors from Williams College, Amherst College, Bowdoin College, Colgate University, Hamilton College, Middlebury College, St. Lawrence University, Skidmore College, and Wesleyan University the opportunity to interview in Boston and New York City.

ECCD - Boston

Each fall, usually in November, employers representing finance, consulting, insurance, education, government/law, research and technology gather in a conference site in downtown Boston to conduct interviews with preselected candidates from member schools.

ECCD - New York

Each spring, usually before or during Spring Break, employers representing medicine/healthcare/laboratory research, education, advertising/public relations/marketing, publishing/print media, non-profit/community activism, law, education, finance and consulting gather at site in New York to conduct interviews with preselected candidates from member schools. Information about this event will appear sometime in early January.


How To Apply?

  1. To review employers and job listings for ECCD–Boston (without officially registering) use the url, username, and password listed below:
  2. Under "Jobs & Internships" choose "Job/Internship Search".
  3. Under "1-Click Searches" on the left of the screen select "Newest Jobs".
  4. A list of employers and their posted jobs will appear. If desired you can sort them by job, employer, or location.
  5. If you are interested in applying for any of these positions and attending ECCD-Boston, the deadline to apply is Thursday, October 2, 2008.
  6. To apply, go back to: http://eccdb.erecruiting.com/er/security/login.jsp
  7. Under "Students" select "Create Account". You will need to enter your name and create a username and password. Then select "Register" at the bottom of the page.
  8. Please complete your profile—the following sections of the registration form were included when the Experience System was created and are not relevant to ECCD-Boston:
    • Desired Job Function under the Career Preferences header (however to continue registering you must choose something, "Not Specified" and "Other" are both available as options).
    • Please be sure to deselect any checked boxes under emails and newsletters.
    • Demographic Statistics ("I would rather not say" is an option).
  9. Once registered, if you are not automatically redirected to the ECCD home page, select "Home" at the top left of the page.
  10. At the left of the screen on the home page under "Calendar" choose "Interview Schedules" and the list of jobs listed for ECCD-Boston will appear. Be sure to check the site frequently for updates.
  11. The maximum number of employers you may apply to is thirteen.

PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT COMPANIES WITH QUESTIONS ABOUT ECCD.

DEADLINE to apply for ECCD-Boston jobs is Thursday, October 2, 2008.

If you choose to participate in ECCD-Boston, an ECCD Code of Conduct form will be emailed to you. You must read the form and return the acknowledgement via email.
