I’d like to personally welcome all alumni to maintain a connection to Williams College via the network available to them through the Office of Alumni Relations and the Office of Career Counseling. All of our services are available to alumni at any stage in their careers. Naturally, our services are primarily geared toward undergraduates, however, I do have some experience helping people with mid-life career change in my recent work in the mid-career program at Harvard’s Kennedy School, and I act as the primary contact for Williams College alumni.
I am also happy to work with alumni who would like to tap the talented Williams student body to fill internships and/or job openings in your place of employment. We encourage you to send us job listings and we will post them in our on-line jobs database to which all Williams students and alumni have access. Please send job listings to occ@williams.edu, or for those of you who have used the Route 2 System in the past to send us job postings, and wish to continue to do so, click here to log in. To register to use the Route 2 System, click here. If you would rather use our quick and easy 'Hire an Eph' job form, click here.
We have also started a new initiative called the Route 2 Program that involves alumni in a more formal way through career-based professional groups. These groups are intended not only to be a resource for students, but also as a means of professional development for alumni . . . connecting you with alumni in your field to enhance your own network.
Finally, I am delighted to connect with alumni who are returning to campus either for personal counseling or as panelists for career seminars. So, please, do not hesitate to contact me and get involved.
Cheers,
John H. Noble
Director
