Brooks is named after the late Captain Belvidere Brooks, class of 1910, killed in action at Villesavoye, France, in 1918. During his time at Williams, Brooks was a DKE, Captain of the football team, and Gargoyle.
Originally home to the Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity, Brooks now houses both students and the Conference Office. It is located between Spencer and Weston, and is famed for its Brooks Late Night parties, due to its large and spacious basement common room and kitchen with bar.
All 16 rooms in Brooks are spacious and considered "homey and cozy." Brooks has four singles and 12 doubles. |
