No matter what your interest, there may be an opportunity awaiting you this summer in the Hopkins Forest. There will be several positions--funded through Williams College--assisting on faculty research, working as caretakers, and independent projects (in consultation with a Faculty Member or the Forest Manager). Preference in selection will be given to Williams College students. Anyone interested in pursuing his/her own (self-funded) project is encouraged to contact the Forest Manager. If you have questions or would like more information on summer projects, contact the Forest Manager. You can apply on-line or contact the CES Office for a paper application.

Several opportunities assisting professors on individual research projects are available this summer.
If you would like to be a Hopkins Forest Caretaker, with wide ranging duties--gardening, trail maintenance, timber and woodlot management, grounds-keeping, curatorial duties, educational programming, and more--please contact the Forest Manager or CES office for an application (or use the on-line application above).
Students with special talents or interests who would like to pursue their own research/creative projects in HMF are encouraged to contact the Forest Manager. For botany and wildlife enthusiasts, projects involving certain taxa--conducting inventories, updating databases, and producing annotated species list--would be welcome.
