Measuring Blood Pressure

Measuring blood pressure in animals can be achieved in numerous ways. We use a radiotelemetric system that measures blood pressure 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

We implant the blood pressure device into a major artery of an animal. Blood pressure is measured and sent to a computer for storage of the data.

The equipment used in this grant from National Science Foundation was purchased from Data Sciences International.
