Abigail Taylor netted two goals early in the third period to complete her hat-trick; at 5:39 it was Erika Latham and Daley Kirby who registered the assists and at 6:30 it was Latham and Popoff. Coach Neil Sinclair attributed the team's big win to the work they did individually over break. "We've had just four days of practice to get rid of the rust. The team kept in shape and were able to jump right into play," commented Sinclair.

Wasserman, a senior from Minnetonka, MN, was honored in a ceremony preceding the game as the all-time high scorer for the Williams College women's ice hockey program. She was presented with a plaque by Williams Athletic Director Harry Sheehy and her parents were on hand to share the honor. Wasserman entered this evening's contest with 97 career goals to hercredit along with 63 assists. With her early performance tonight, she is one goal shy of the century mark and has now claimed 64 assists.
