Ryan Fote '07 goes into his windup in Fenway Park

BOSTON, MA — The College Division team (Div. II-III All-Stars) stopped a two-game losing streak in the New England College Baseball All-Star Game with a 2-0 victory against the University Division (Div. I All-Stars) on Sunday night at Fenway Park.

2007 Williams graduate Ryan Fote was one of seven hurlers who combined for the shutout in the Div. II-III all-stars victory. He threw one inning and retired every batter he faced, striking out two. Kenney started at catcher for the college all-stars and went 0 for 2, grounding out to the pitcher in the second and striking out looking in the fifth.

Kenney was still behind the plate when Fote came out to pitch the fifth inning. The former Eph southpaw incduced a comebacker to the mound, struck the next batter out swinging and fanned the third batter looking at a called third strike.
