While any campaign depends on major gifts for specific projects and programs, the cornerstone of The Williams Campaign is the unshakable support of the Alumni and Parents Funds. Collective contributions to the funds will give us the financial resilience to absorb the ongoing costs of strategic initiatives without sacrificing other crucial aspects of the Williams experience. As new building projects and curricular and student life initiatives – which bring with them new demands – get under way, the funds provide substantial support on a number of fronts, among them properties operation and maintenance, staffing and programs, and related services such as technological upgrades and innovations. All Williams alumni and parents – including those who make major commitments for specific initiatives – are being asked to support the campaign through more generous, consistent gifts to the Alumni Fund and Parents Fund.
