Students Learning from Students
How do Williams students educate each other? In countless ways, say Lisa Ahn '03 and Terri AutryWilliams '03.
Deep friendships are much of what makes four years at Williams so
unforgettable. By challenging comfortable assumptions and sharing the
unique perspectives of their lives, students teach each other personal
and intellectual lessons outside of class that are as important as
anything in the formal curriculum. Not incidentally, these
relationships also offer practical preparation for our global society,
introducing them to people from other regions, nations, cultures and
backgrounds.
To improve the quality of campus life and give students every
opportunity to help each other, Williams is embarking on a set of
important student life initiatives.
