Students Learning from Faculty - Expanded Faculty
All of our curricular initiatives are designed to heighten the Williams experience by bringing students and professors together for more frequent--and more intense--interaction. At a practical level, this means creating smaller classes, allowing professors more time to devote to students inside and outside the classroom. The College has moved aggressively to add 30 new positions to the faculty. While Alumni Fund and Parents Fund gifts have allowed us to hire new faculty of the highest caliber, substantial gifts of new endowment are needed to secure these positions in perpetuity.
