Applying Online
Williams uses the Common Application exclusively for first-year applicants. If you take advantage of the online option, PLEASE DO NOT ALSO SEND A HARD COPY OF YOUR APPLICATION. Sending a duplicate application and/or supplement may delay the processing and reading of your application.
Please visit Common App Online to obtain appropriate forms, including the Williams Supplement. Through Common App, students are able to submit forms electronically or to download forms to be mailed as hard copy. Williams requires students using the electronic option to submit the supplement and the application at the same time as part of the Common Application's Hand-in-Hand process. Please note that if you are an Early Decision candidate using the online version of the Common Application, you must download, complete, and mail a copy of the Early Decision Agreement Form to the Office of Admission, 33 Stetson Court, Williamstown, MA 01267.
Students submitting applications electronically have three payment options: credit card, debit card, or fee waiver. Personal checks are not accepted. Students wishing to pay by check must submit hard copy of the Supplement and the application by mail. All students submitting a hard copy of the Common Application and Williams Supplement must pay by check.
The Williams specific Peer Evaluation and Arts Evaluation forms are not available through the Common Application site. Copies are included in the Application booklet mailed to all seniors along with the Prospectus. Students can also access editable PDF* versions of these forms on-screen, which they can then print and mail to the Office of Admission, 33 Stetson Court, Williamstown, MA 01267. These forms cannot be submitted electronically.
To access these forms, please right click on the desired file, select Save Target As, and save the file to your hard drive for later access. If you double click on the links, you may not be able to open the files successfully.

In order to give departments time to evaluate your submissions, please forward them by October 27 for Early Decision and December 20 for Regular Decision.
