ECON 363(F) Money and Banking

This course will consist of three broad areas of study. First, we will consider the fundamentals of financial markets. Included here will be the study of the behavior of interest rates and an overview of financial institutions. Second, we will study the Federal Reserve System, the money supply process, and the conduct of monetary policy. The third area of study consists of monetary theory. Prerequisite: Economics 251. Enrollment limited to 25.
