MATH 330T(F) Numerical Methods
Many real-world problems can be stated precisely in mathematical terms, but not solved. Significant insight into these problems can be gained by computationally approximating the solutions. This course will cover popular numerical techniques with an emphasis on implementation, error control, and applications. Evaluation will be based primarily on homework, projects, and exams. Prerequisite: Mathematics 105 or equivalent and computer programming skills.
