ENGL 150(F) Expository Writing+ This is a course in basic problems of expository writing. It is not designed for students interested in writing prose fiction or in simply polishing their style. Its goal is to teach students how to write a clear, well-argued, intelligible paper. Readings will be taken from a writing handbook and a collection of essays. A substantial amount of writing will be assigned. Regular class meetings will be supplemented by individual conferences. No prerequisites. Since only students who take the diagnostic examination administered during First Days are eligible for admission, students should not preregister. Enrollment limit:12 (expected: 12). Hour: SALAMENSKY
