This course explore how computer operating systems allocate resources and create virtual machines. Topics will include storage management, scheduling, concurrent processing, protection of data, and user interfaces. Evaluation will be based primarily on problem assignments, projects, and exams. Prerequisites: Computer Science 136 and Computer Science 237. Expected enrollment: 20. PROJECT COURSE.
